Leith Hill Music Festival is a competitive choral festival for amateur choirs in the Surrey area, founded in 1905 by Lady Evangeline Farrer and Margaret Vaughan Williams, whose famous brother, the composer Ralph, was Festival Conductor for nearly fifty years. Each year around five hundred singers take part over two days.
London-based Chinese pianist Siqian Li releases her debut album Voyage Among Fragments on 6 March 2026. Featuring transcriptions by leading pianists, the album charts Li’s development across three distinct cultural landscapes – China, France, and the United States – reflecting moments and encounters that have shaped her artistic identity.
The Royal School of Church Music
Founded in 1927, the Royal School of Church Music exists to enable church music and musicians to flourish, thereby bringing people closer to God in worship and encouraging church communities to grow.
Thomas Hewitt Jones is an award-winning composer of contemporary classical and commercial music. Since winning the BBC Young Composer Competition in his teens, his music has been published by many of the major music publishers and is frequently heard in concert and on radio, TV and in the cinema.
Hertfordshire Festival of Music
Hertfordshire Festival of Music is a major summer celebration of classical music, based in and around the attractive historic county town of Hertford. Now an established part of the summer classical music calendar, the Festival features showcases leading international artists and ensembles alongside innovative outreach and educational projects. The Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026.
A small London-based arts organisation working with leading musicians, which specialises in promoting concerts and mixed genre productions in small or more unusual venues, including the 1901 Arts Club and Ham House Stables.
